Lora Howard, Attorney and Counselor at Law continues to build her law practice on a foundation shaped by her multifaceted experiences working in business, higher education and in the non-profit world.  These career experiences and her commitment to lifelong learning contribute real-world context to her work.  Clients receive the benefit of her broad vision and their unique requirements are thoroughly addressed with experiential wisdom and understanding.

In her role as a Senior Business Analyst for the Timken Company, Ms. Howard received the Dedication to Excellence Award, the Company's highest corporate distinction.  She  has taught as an Adjunct Professor of Information Technology at High Point University and served as a Loaned Executive for the United Way of Randolph County. Currently, she presents occasional lectures for aspiring business owners at local colleges.

Ms. Howard earned her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude from High Point University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Juris Doctor from the Elon University School of Law.  She currently serves as a preceptor, mentoring law students at Elon.  Her professional certifications include Project Management, Supply Chain Management and she is a LEED certified Green Associate.  Ms. Howard is admitted to practice in North Carolina state courts and United States District Courts for the Middle District of North Carolina.
